I have helped organise a number of workshop, tutorials, and other research-related events, some of which are listed below.

AAAI Symposia Series

I am currently one of two Co-Chairs of the AAAI Symposia Series, together with Christopher Geib. AAAI Symposia are normally organised twice a year with the AAAI Spring Symposium Series usually held at Stanford University, and the AAAI Fall Symposium Series usually held in Arlington, VA, USA outside Washington, DC. The new AAAI Summer Symposium Series is held at international venues outside the USA. I have helped organise the following events:

KEPS

I am a co-organiser of the Workshop on Knowledge Engineering for Planning and Scheduling (KEPS), together with Mauro Vallati, Lukáš Chrpa, and Tiago Vaquero. KEPS usually runs as part of the International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling (ICAPS). In 2024, we will also be organising the International Competition on Knowledge Engineering for Planning and Scheduling (ICKEPS) as part of the ICAPS 2024 Summer School. I have helped organise and run the following events:

I also regularly organise other events as part of the International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling (ICAPS):

• I was one of the Chairs of the Robotics Track at ICAPS 2023, held in Prague, Czech Republic from 2023-07-08 to 2023-07-13.

• I was a co-organiser of the User Interfaces and Scheduling and Planning (UISP) workshop at ICAPS 2018, held in Delft, Netherlands on 2018-06-26.

• I was a co-organiser of the Generalized Planning (GenPlan) workshop at ICAPS 2017, held in Pittsburgh, PA, USA on 2017-06-19.

• I was a co-organiser of the User Interfaces and Scheduling and Planning (UISP) workshop at ICAPS 2017, held in Pittsburgh, PA, USA on 2017-06-20.

• I was a Co-Chair of the System Demonstration Session at ICAPS 2016, held in London, England, United Kingdom on 2016-06-15.

UK PlanSIG

I am currently the Coordinator of the UK Planning and Scheduling Special Interest Group (UK PlanSIG), a regular forum for planning researchers. I have also helped co-organise the following UK PlanSIG events:

• I was a co-organiser of the Workshop on Task Planning for Intelligent Robots in Service and Manufacturing at the IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2015), held in Hamburg, Germany on 2015-10-02.

• I was a co-organiser of the Workshop on Combining AI Reasoning and Cognitive Science with Robotics at Robotics: Science and Systems (RSS 2015), held in Rome, Italy on 2015-07-16.

• I was the organiser of the Planning & Language Interest Group meetings in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh from 2007 to 2008.
